The family and friends of Benjamin Labonosky IV, are hosting the second annual Be Like Ben Memorial on July 20th at the Fish and Game Club in Colchester CT. Ben was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident on July 16, 2017 after being struck by a car whose driver was distracted. Given the nature of the tragedy, his loved ones have sought to honor Ben’s legacy by fundraising to support the organization, End Distracted Driving (EndDD.org). End Distracted Driving is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Philadelphia PA which provides nation-wide advocacy and group presentations with the aim to save lives from distracted driving through advocacy, education and action.

This year’s event will also honor Ben’s beloved-friend, Tim Ahern who passed away in December 2018 and was a key-organizer from our inaugural event last year.

Last year our event was immensely successful and we were able to raise nearly $6,000 to support the life-saving work of EndDD and we could not have done so without the incredibly generous support of our community partners. event.
